On a night like this when the sun is no where to be found, let the background, the sand, the rocks, and the wardrobe choices help work for you. Yes, I love to have sunshine in my photos, but sometimes we just can’t bribe Mother Nature enough to make it happen. So, our next obvious choice in making images stand out, is the clothes that we choose to wear. At the beach, muted tones are always a hit and work best! Here’s a great example of why what you choose to wear really matters.
I just loved this creamy, tan, hazy evening Fall session at Cardiff’s South Seaside Beach! This beach, BTW, is one of my go-to beaches for most beach sessions. It’s flat and wide, and the exposed tide rocks during the Fall/Winter months add so much for kids to explore, while also adding texture to the images. It’s never a bad idea to book a family session. Consider it a date night! Get dressed up, have fun playing on the beach and watching the sunset, and then grab dinner and dessert! It’ll be a great way to remember your beautiful family.
